Dioic Acid is a naturally-produced fatty acid derivative and an active ingredient in the prevention of hyperpigmentation. It is made via biofermentation from natural oleic acid, with the help of yeast. Dioic Acid acts at the origin of the pigmentation process, reducing the production of melanin and inhibiting its distribution to skin cells.
